Catalina Gorla, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer

Catalina serves as the Chief Executive Officer for TruDataRx. In this role, Catalina works closely with the clinical team and clients of TruDataRx to ensure an exceptional customer experience that results in meaningful savings in pharmacy benefits driven by rigorous evidence-based analytics. Catalina also works with the TruDataRx development team to build the analytical tools and software that drive the value for clients.

Catalina has spent the past 12 years working in healthcare in a range of roles involving research commercialization, enterprise formation, and operations development. Prior to founding TruDataRx, Catalina was the founding COO of Informulary, Inc, a company committed to improving health by providing doctors and patients with the information they need to make wise decisions about prescription drugs, and also held positions at Dartmouth College as the Program Manager of innovations in translation and new initiatives at the Dartmouth Center for Healthcare Delivery Science. Through these roles, Catalina worked with researchers and business professionals to create self-sustaining entities that address needs in the health care delivery system. Prior to Dartmouth, she worked as an economist for a large investment management firm, focusing on international financial markets. In this role, she developed new tools and analytical reports on investible foreign markets. Prior to her work in economic research, Catalina completed a financial leadership rotation program in the insurance industry. Catalina graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College.


Dr. James Stahl, Chief Medical Officer

James E. Stahl, M.D., C.M., M.P.H., recent section chief of General Internal Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and current director of the primary care research fellowship and director of the medical ethics fellowship, is a practicing clinician and an outcomes researcher with expertise in decision science, operations research, and health technology assessment. As the Chief Medical Officer of TruDataRx, Dr. Stahl oversees the clinical data process and development of comparative effectiveness Evidence Reviews. He provides the valuable insight needed to ground our analysis of existing drug efficacy research in the realities of medical practice and the healthcare industry.

Dr. Stahl attended medical school at McGill University and completed a joint internal medicine residency between North Shore University Hospital - Cornell Medical School and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He then completed a National Library of Medicine fellowship in Clinical Decision Making, Informatics and Telemedicine at New England Medical Center - Tufts University School of Medicine. While there, in addition to his training he worked on the clinical decision analysis consult service, developed and helped implement several internal hospital guidelines and decision support tools and helped develop and grow the international telemedicine program. He then went to University of Pittsburgh, where he worked in the area of liver allocation policy and completed his MPH at the Graduate School of Public Health and received the award for best health policy thesis.

His research interests include discrete-event simulation, operations research, decision analysis, meta-analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, utility assessment, game theory, market design, ethics in the context of limited medical resources and applying industrial design to problem solving in health care.

Levi Roseman serves as a member of the sales team, investigating opportunities for TruDataRx to expand our presence in the market, evaluate opportunities to work with new partners, and devise new ways to connect with qualified clients. Levi has had a lifelong interest in politics and is particularly focused on engaging government and public sector clients.

Prior to joining TruDataRx, Levi double majored in Government and German Studies at Dartmouth College and minored in Public Policy. He also started a communications coaching business while in college and is passionate about solving problems through public discourse and private enterprise.


Dr. Kerry Mills, Senior Scientist

Dr. Kerry Mills is TruDataRx’s Senior Scientist. She is responsible for the Evidence Program in the company, where she sources, compiles and interprets the evidence base for TruDataRx’s products. She works with the analyst team, the Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Pharmacist, as well as the management team to produce accurate, fit-for-purpose data and evidence reviews.

Kerry is a scientist who is an expert in evidence-based policy and meta-analysis. She obtained her undergraduate degrees in Arts and Science at the Australian National University (Canberra, Australia), qualifying with first-class honours. She then undertook a PhD at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research - Australia’s top research institute - before taking up postdoctoral work in Heidelberg, Germany. After returning to Australia, Kerry worked at the national food regulator for six years. Kerry is a adjunct professional associate at the University of Canberra, where she continues to lecture and publish high-impact scientific research.


Bethany Sneathen, Manager of Clinical Data & Product Integration

Bethany Sneathen manages our clinical data process and collaborates with our Senior Scientist and Chief Medical Officer to develop Evidence Reviews on the comparative effectiveness for drugs used for a variety of medical conditions. Along with our pharmacists, Bethany analyzes client claims data to monitor ongoing cost-reduction strategies and identify and investigate new potential savings opportunities. Bethany also develops and oversees our processes for integrating clinical programs with TruDataRx partners for the TruCard product and supports the client implementation process.

In addition to her background in pharmaceutical data analysis, Bethany has experience conducting a long-term observational study on treatment for opioid use disorder and clinical experience in dermatology. Bethany is a graduate of Princeton University. At Princeton, Bethany studied molecular biology and health policy, taking a particular interest in microbiome research.


Lindsey Pardoe, VP of Client solutions

Lindsey Pardoe, BS, PharmD, BCGP is the VP of Client Solutions at TruDataRx. She received a bachelor's degree in Biology and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University. She completed a postgraduate pharmacy residency at the Providence, RI Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Lindsey started her career facilitating patients' transitions from the acute care setting to home - optimizing medications, ensuring patient understanding of and adherence to the discharge plan, and resolving medication issues in the days after discharge. She then transitioned into clinical quality assurance, training, and clinical program design in the Medicare and managed care space. Lindsey has significant start up experience building and scaling clinical training programs from 40 people to 400.

As a clinical pharmacist and VP of Client Solutions at TruDataRx, Lindsey oversees the clinical and client teams who design, implement, and monitor our clinical interventions. Lindsey and her team analyze claims data for opportunities to optimize pharmacy spend, communicate clinical information to clients to promote informed decision making, and assist with program implementation. Lindsey manages client relationships and oversees day to day operations to ensure client goals are met. 


Teresa Biel, manager of clinical pharmacy operations

Teresa Biel, PharmD, is a Clinical Pharmacist at TruDataRx. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Teresa began her career translating medication information into patient-friendly content for social media and mobile platforms. She then transitioned to inpatient clinical practice, providing medication therapy review for patients at the time of discharge, including assessment of the appropriateness of therapy in terms of indication, interactions, and duplications. This was followed by work in developing and maintaining the EHR program for Baylor Scott&White health as related to the pharmacy application.

As a clinical pharmacist at TruDataRx, Teresa works to design, implement, and monitor our clinical interventions with the clinical and client teams. Teresa reviews claim data for opportunities to optimize pharmacy spending assists with program implementation and communicates clinical information to clients to promote informed decision making. She also communicates with patients and providers to ensure our clinical recommendations are executed smoothly with minimal member disruption.


Andreea Nemes, Clinical Pharmacist

Andreea Nemes, PharmD, BCGP is a Clinical Pharmacist at TruDataRx. She received her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy in Nashville, TN.  Andreea began her career as a pharmacist with CVS/Caremark and later transitioned to OptumRX. She advanced to a Senior Clinical Pharmacist role and served as a quality lead, while also leading the development and implementation of educational courses.

As a clinical pharmacist at TruDataRx, Andreea works to design, implement, and monitor our clinical interventions with the clinical and client teams. Andreea participates in comparative effectiveness reviews, analyzes claims data for opportunities to optimize pharmacy spend, and  assists with program implementation. She also provides outreach as needed to both patients and providers and assists in design and maintenance of the formulary to ensure our clinical recommendations are executed according to the savings strategy. Andreea handles prior authorization adjudication and acts as a drug information resource/SME for the client team as they handle client requests and questions.


angela spencer, clinical pharmacist

Angela Spencer, PharmD, BCGP is a clinical pharmacist at TruDataRx. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Florida A&M University and completed a postgraduate residency at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare.

Angela began her career in academic pharmacy gaining clinical practice experience in a broad range of areas including oncology, neurology, psychiatry, and geriatrics. Most recently, Angela worked as a clinical pharmacist for a leading public academic healthcare system in the US. Angela comes to TruDataRx with hands-on experience in primary care, ensuring patients with chronic diseases are effectively managed.


SHelley Black, pharmacy operations support specialist

Shelley Black, CPhT, is a nationally certified pharmacy technician who works with both the clinical and TruCard teams offering member support and quality customer service. 

She has spent over 20 years in retail pharmacy followed by nearly a decade of work in the pharmacy benefits space on the insurance side.  Shelley has a lifelong passion for bringing member-centric support to everyone she serves.


DJ Underwood, pharmacy operations support specialist

Underwood, CPhT is a nationally certified pharmacy technician who has been working in the pharmaceutical industry for the past 12+ years. She has a background in retail, hospital, oncology, and specialty pharmacy settings. Her diverse experience in the pharmacy community has allowed her to develop an understanding and the ability to navigate challenging situations. She has a passion for closing the gap in communications between members, health care and to provide valuable information to give remarkable assistance and customer service. 


Ryan McHugh, trucard product Manager

Ryan serves as a TruCard Product Manager for TruDataRx. He is responsible for managing everyday client needs, ensuring implementations are executed smoothly and providing exceptional member experiences. Ryan also assists with improving processes and reporting, as well as reviewing client claims data to realize savings opportunities. 

Ryan spent the first six years of his career working at a healthcare consulting firm where he managed nationally recognized health systems and analyzed their claims data to identify and recover additional revenue opportunities found within the revenue cycle process. Ryan graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Healthcare Management and Policy.  


Caitlin Anderson, Data & Analytics manager

As an analyst at TruDataRx, Caitlin collects and analyzes clinical trial data and works with the Senior Scientist and Chief Medical Officer to develop Evidence Reviews on the comparative effectiveness of drugs for a given condition. In addition, she works with the client experience team to analyze claims data and identify new opportunities for savings.

Caitlin’s background is primarily in biological research, and, before joining TruDataRx, she spent two years teaching biology in Costa Rica. Caitlin holds an MS in Philosophy of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA from Dartmouth College, where she studied biology with a concentration in molecular genetics.


Kayla Brank, TruCard operations analyst

At TruDataRx, Kayla analyzes claims data to produce clinical insights and financial reports for prospects and clients. She enjoys combining her passion for pharmacy with her drive to improve the quality and efficiency of business processes.

Before joining TruDataRx, Kayla held roles in an independent clinical toxicology laboratory which included LIMS administration, claims scrubbing, and account management with a focus on building strong client relationships through reliable service. She also has experience deploying pharmacy conversions for long-term care facilities and providing internal support for EHR applications.

A life-long resident of North Carolina, Kayla graduated summa cum laude from UNC Asheville where she earned a B.S. in Biology and was honored with Distinction in her major.


Katy Axel, Sr. Business Development analyst

Katy is a graduate of Dartmouth College with a B.A. in biology. At Dartmouth she conducted research in conjunction with The Dartmouth Institute of Clinical Policy and Practice and participated in the biology study abroad program in Costa Rica.

At TruDataRx, Katy works as a Sr. Business Development Analyst. She works closely with the sales team to manage the analytic functions of the sales process and spends time developing new product offerings. She also works with the client team to help support client analytics and reporting.


Charles Baird, Sr. Clinical Data ANALYST

Charles Baird works within our Clinical Team by collecting and analyzing research trial data to develop Evidence Reviews on the comparative effectiveness of drugs. Additionally, he processes claims data to find ways for our clients to reduce prescription drug costs.

Prior to joining TruDataRx, Charles was an infantryman in the 1st Battalion of the 102nd Infantry Regiment and deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. He received an A.S. in Engineering Science and an A.S. in Technology Studies: Biomolecular Science Option from Quinebaug Valley Community College before completing his B.A. in Data Science at Columbia University.


Amaka Nwafor, ANALYST

Amaka is a recent graduate of Cornell University with a B.S. in Public Health and a minor in Psychology. At Cornell, she participated in research with One Sun Health regarding malaria awareness and completed a service trip to Nigeria in collaboration with Cornell’s Scholars in Our Society and Africa.

At Trudatarx, Amaka works as a clinical data analyst to collect and analyze clinical trial data of different drugs to help create evidence reviews on the comparative effectiveness of those drugs.


Abby Orr, ANALYST

Abby is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.S. in biology, health, and society and economics.

At TruDataRx, Abby works as a data analyst to extract clinical and claims data in order to conduct analyses of the comparative effectiveness of prescription drugs. Working alongside the clinical team and sales team, this data is used as a fundamental building block in reducing our clients’ prescription drug spend.


Gregg Fairbrothers, co-founder & chairman

Gregg Fairbrothers serves on the board of directors for TruDataRx. Mr. Fairbrothers represents the investor group that has backed TruDataRx, a group of seasoned investors with experience in insurance brokerage and consulting services, health care, and business formation.

Mr. Fairbrothers recently stepped down as President and founding board member of Groups-Recover Together, a for-profit medical startup that provides affordable treatment helping people to recover from opioid addiction. He is also a founder and board member or chair of currently active technology companies in biotechnology and medical information technology, and two nonprofit organizations, The Institute for Biomedical Entrepreneurship and the Eleazar Wheelock Society.

Previously for fourteen years, Mr. Fairbrothers was the founding director of the Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network, Dartmouth College, and an adjunct professor of Business Administration in entrepreneurship at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. In 2004 he founded the Dartmouth Regional Technology Center (DRTC), Inc. a free-standing New Hampshire non-profit corporation that operates a 55,000 sq. ft. technology incubator facility developing technology-based innovations with the potential for significant social impact, and in 2006-2009 co-founded the Apologia student journal at Dartmouth and the Eleazar Wheelock Society, where he still is a trustee. In 2016 he joined the Institute for Biomedical Entrepreneurship in Cambridge, MA as a co-founding board member.

Mr. Fairbrothers has more than 22 years of experience in almost all operational and investment-related aspects of the upstream oil and gas industry, including exploration, exploitation, production, marketing, acquisitions and divestment, joint ventures, and corporate finance through banks, multi-lateral institutions, limited partnerships and public markets (including IPOs and unsolicited purchases). Prior to returning to the Upper Valley in 1999, he was President and founder of a mid-sized international oil and gas producer, Samson International, Ltd., as well as President of Samson Resources, Inc., and a Director of the companies’ parent holding company, Samson Investment Company.

Mr. Fairbrothers earned an MS in Geology from Rutgers University, and received his MBA from the University of Tulsa. He graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College.


Dr. Reinhard J. Ambros, board member

In his career Reinhard J. Ambros PhD, has gained broad experience in international leadership positions at Roche and Novartis in corporate strategy, BD&L and pharmaceutical product development. From 2005-2017 he has served as the global head of the Novartis Venture Fund and built one of the largest and most active corporate Biotechnology Venture Funds in that period.

Currently, Dr. Ambros serves on the board of TruDataRx and several other private and public biotechnology companies in Europe and the US.


Peter behnke, board member

Mr. Behnke has been an investor and operator in Healthcare, Insurance, Communications and Real Estate for more than 20 years. He graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training from Quinnipiac University and became well recognized nationally as one of the first to be Board Certified in Sports Physical Therapy. Having held leadership positions in both privately and publicly held companies Mr. Behnke was responsible for bringing healthcare to the work-place in an integrated model for some of the largest employers and healthcare insurers in the US.

He has held a number of Director and Officer level positions in Healthcare Administration with financial and operational responsibilities for several large Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy practices as well as the East Coast operations for HealthSouth’s (Formerly NYSE: HLS now EHC) Diagnostic Imaging business. In 2001 after the sale of HealthSouth’s Diagnostic Imaging business to Private Equity, Pete became a partner at HealthCare Risk Specialists, a national Medical Malpractice Insurance Brokerage. HealthCare Risk successfully completed its sale to Integro in August of 2015. Integro’s US operations were subsequently acquired by Epic Brokers in January of 2019. Currently Mr. Behnke remains actively involved with EPIC Broker’s Healthcare Practice while continuing to support his real estate and private company investments. Current investments include: Mutualink, iBlades, Goodman Coffee Roasters, Physician Insurance Services, Next Therapy Solutions and TruDataRx.

Peter has served as a Board Member for TruDataRx since August 2017, supporting TruDataRx's mission of empowering management and employees to take control of their pharmacy costs and clinical outcomes with comparative effectiveness data analytics.


Dr. david mclean, board member

Dave is a veteran of the health care industry and is a seasoned CEO and founder. He is a co-founder of Emerging Therapy Solutions, and previously led several managed care technology companies, including Medication Management Systems, Inc. (acquired by Genoa HealthCare), NovoLogix (acquired by CVS), and RxHub. Dave served as the CEO of United Resource Networks at United Health Group, a business that managed organ and tissue transplants for 45 million payer lives, and SVP at American MedCenters, an HMO management company. Dave holds a BS in Pharmacy from Ohio State University and a Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota.

Dave has served as a Board Member for TruDataRx since 2021.
